That's awesome. :) Congratulations. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. :)
Fun!! It looks like you guys had an awesome party!! I love your cake and your cupcake stand, by the way!
@piglet_625: Thank you! A family friend makes cakes and we've always gone to her for birthdays and such, so we asked her to make the cake/cupcakes. It was her first time making a wedding cake but it was delicious- vanilla with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting. The three tier cake and 60 cupcakes for 175$? Can't beat that!
You are a beautiful bride! Congrats on your wedding. And um yeah that punch looks amazing. Can you tell me whats in it?
Congratulations! All the pictures of your goodies have me craving :)
@ratana187: Thank you! Sprite, raspberry sherbert, strawberry soda and I think pineapple juice, with some various fruits :) It was a huge hit.
@forforever: Haha thank you!! I miss the chocolate fountain XD
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are such a bright light! Seriously, for 2,000 your wedding was beautiful and super creative and had tons of personality. You look so happy and you are BEAUTIFUL!!!
I ENVY you and your 2,000 dollar wedding!!!! I think the amount we all spend is just frigin sickening. :)
Your wedding was sooooooo beautiful! I really want a chocolate fountain and strawberries so bad lol
@April_Fools_Bride: Aw thank you so much! That's so sweet <3. I'm sure if I had the funds available at the time I would have fell victim to overspendititis too :P I'm already looking into vow renewal stuff because of my post wedding depression, haha :D I think I'm hooked... even though I know there's nothing I can do for a few years, it's nice to imagine. :)
@cyndistar3: I worked at a catering company and so they let me borrow it free of charge, even gave me a 1lb block of chocolate :) The strawberries were delicious and a huge hit too.
@SnowPeony: Congratulations! You look fantastic! I love your dress and your hair. The cake flanked by two sets of cupcakes looks so charming and tasty! Your friend did a great job on her first wedding cake! Your photos made me smile and it looks like you all had a wonderful and relaxed time. By the way, what food is that pictured just above the dinner rolls? It looks powdered? I can't remember the name of that or what that is, but it looks familiar! Thanks. :)
@Cornflakegirl: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them, it makes me smile that they made you smile! I really had a genuine joy that day, something that doesn't happen all the time :) And it's called puppy chow, and its my addiction :D It's made with corn chex, melted chocolate chips, peanut butter, a little melted butter, and powdered sugar. It's sooooo good.
Looks great! Everyone seemed to have so much fun and you both look so happy, and that's the only purpose of a wedding! You did an amazing job with your small budget!!
Very nice! You should post a breakdown for other budget brides!
Any chance you would be willing to share Grammy's fudge recipe?! I DIE for fudge! Seriously!!!!
Looks like you had such a blast at your wedding. I'm glad you shared your wedding on a budget, it's great to see that you can have a fantastic wedding without spending 20 000 (not that there's anything wrong with that budget either! lol).
@Miss Tattoo: That's a good idea! Where should I post it though? Money?
@aaronlori: I'll ask her for it. I know she uses marshmallows and it's soooo chewy and good :)
Thanks everyone, ya'll are great :D
Your wedding looks like everyone had a blast! Congratulations! I love fun weddings.
That'd be awesome if you could post the breakdown of your budget! I think it all looks great and everyone looks like they are having a good time. I love the MR & MRS in front of you two on the head table!!!
@SnowPeony: Wow how gorgeous, Love love love your cake! It's nice to see a beautiful wedding where everyone had a great time for my budget range. I am a budget bride also, so please post a break down, it would be alot of help for me!
Thanks youg guys! I posted a budget break down in the money section if you're interested :)
Looks like you had a great time and you looked so beautiful!! Congrats!
Bad Ass Girlfriend! It looks like it was a super successful party and man do I want to dive on top of that sweet table! Congratulations - you looked stunning and you had an amazing wedding.
@SweetAdelineXO: Haha thank you! I wanted to jump all over the sweets too, but of course as soon as I started on chocolate-dipping the strawberries I dropped a little chocolate on my gown O.o So I had to stay away.
@HisIrishPrincess: I made the MR MRS signs by getting wooden cut-out letters and thin/long wooden pieces from Hobby Lobby and painting them with acrylic paint (two-three coats). I attached em with a hot glue gun :) Super cheap, easy project!
Looks like a great time! Congrads :) BTW I love your toasting glasses..might have to do something like that for my wedding now :P
Thanks all! :)
@FireflyT: I got mine at Hobby Lobby. They were one of the first things I bought cause they were so darn cute, lol!

It's taken me forever to upload these... the final part to my series :) Enjoy! Btw, for any other low budget brides, my entire wedding cost under $2,000 :D
Yummy strawberries for the chocolate fountain!
Grammy's homemade fudge :)
Dessert table.
A little guy gettin' some goodies.
I love the shots of the kids...
More goodies.
Our entrance.
Walking to our seats :3
Ladies first.
All ready!
Klink!
And smile :)
And drink.
Champagne kisses.
My groom dancing with his mom.
My sister and I dancing to Matchbox 20's "Push" haha. :P We moshed.
Finally our first dance. DJ forgot it til last, lol!
The first dance was amazing :3 Our song was "My Valentine" by Martina McBride.
We did a dollar dance and someone dropped a $100 in there!
Doing the bouquet toss.
Look at 'em go!
And the garter toss. His mom's words "You better do this like a real man, with your teeth!" Haha!
A photo with the catchers.
Look at this child crawling around! He was my dance partner all night, stealing me and cutting in, it was soooo cute.
Baby Autumn.
I stole hubby's tie.
Heeeey guy!
I'm making a strange-face here... I love how my BM is grooving on up next to us.
Some food shots.

So many kisses!!
An ampersand between our chairs.
The Mr. Mrs. signs and unity candle I made.
Cotton eye Joe!! *by now my hair is a mess and makeups worse, eek!*
We cha-cha slid into the night.
So ends my wedding night. Everything wrapped up around 11:30 PM, and by that time I was BEAT.
I'm so happy with how everything turned out. I wish I could have a hundred weddings, but just having this one was wonderful. Everyone was so happy, I have so many great candids of people just enjoying themselves and being silly. It was a great night, dancing with my friends (though the hubbys not a dancer and sat most of the time). It was great to experience everything.
For all you girls like me, who thought you need thousands to make a beautiful wedding, you don't. You just need loved ones, some patience, and some good old diy.
Including attire, food, venue, minister fees, bouquet/boutonniere, decor, rings, etc, everything was around/under $2,000. Not bad :)
Good luck with your weddings girls! And remember, have FUN!
