I did this for my fiancee last year, he doesn't like chocolate either but does enjoy star bursts so I wrapped each star burst with a "Why I love you" note. Very time consuming but he loved it.
maybe a paper circle folded in half and then just creased again (so the creases make quarters) to be a simplified representation of a fortune cookie (I'm figuring the real way it's folded might be too much work for 365, but have at it if you're up for that)? put them in a jar, and each day he can pull a random one out and read it.
and maybe when the year is up, you can work a silver fotune cookie (I've seen things like that, maybe at red envelope) into one last gift related to the theme.
awww i'm so flattered that you liked the 365 reasons idea! today is mr. cc & my 6th anniversary and i wish i could say i came up with something equally as clever again, but the best i could do was "i'll pay for take-out and watch movies with you in bed all day!" haha. not terribly romantic, but it does the trick i suppose.
anyway, i'm sure he'll be thrilled with whatever way you plan on presenting the reasons! maybe you could just write the reasons in a nice journal with a collage or photos of you on the front. you could write a message on the inside front cover saying that this could be a journal between the two of you where you can continue to write more reasons why you love each other throughout the years or something?
or, if you're crafty with design programs or Word you could try to create one of those calendars where you rip off a page for each day, and each page could have the reason typed up with the date and maybe a cute graphic that relates to your wedding somehow?
i am still trying to understand how your fiance doesn't like chocolate...hehe :)
Hi, just to say I hope whatever you decide goes well. My boyfriend doesn't like ANY chocolate!!!! Not at all. So, I figured I could look at this one of two ways 1) What a weirdo 2) How great! This means that when we're married I will be able to put a bar of chocolate aside and it won't be eaten by ANYBODY.
Fantastic
Here's to more men not liking chocolate, all the more for us!!
My honey doesn't like any sweets at all! Unless I could figure out a way to wrap messages in fruit or burritos, we'd be up a creek!
Um, my husband married quite possibly the only woman in the world who doesn't like chocolate
I'm the weirdo =]

I'm not getting married for over a year. Sigh.
With that, there isn't much in the way of planning that I can do, but I'm just so in love and excited that I have to do SOMETHING. Today I came across something on my favorite procrastination station (aka: Weddingbe) and I decided that though I may be a ridiculously unorginial copy cat, I'm doing it! On the one year pre-anniversary of our wedding I want to give fiance 365 reasons why I love him a la Ms. Candy Corn.
Fabulous!
One problem... fiance doesn't like most chocolate, with an emphasis on Hershey Kisses. He likes Reese Cups, but that would be insanely hard to make work - plus, do they even taste the same after a year?
All of that being said -- I need your help! I can write reason after reason of why I love him, but I don't know what to attach them to. I've been here a while, I know you are all little Martha Stewarts... Pour your creativity on me!
