You might want to check out my article, "How to Sell Your Wedding Stuff." It has several other places to post for sale items, and some tips on effective marketing.
Dresses are, however, about the hardest wedding-related item to sell. If someone likes your tablecloths, they can just buy them. However, if someone who is a size 22 likes your dress that is a size 2, or vice versa, they won't buy from you. Thus, your target market is a lot smaller with dresses than with other wedding items.
Also, most brides want to try on a dress before buying. Again, this limits your target market to those who either live in your area, or are willing to take a chance on ordering online.
I'm sorry to be such a downer on this. However, we sold all our wedding decor reasonably quickly, yet we still have one of the two dresses and one of the two veils left unsold.
@2dBride: That's a great article! I have definitely learned how hard it is to sell a wedding dress lol. Maybe I'll have some good luck soon!
I'm having a difficult time too! I thought I had a buyer but I haven't heard from her in awhile. I'm not good at selling things apparently. I'm just afraid people will assume I'm just some online scammer. Ugh.

selling the wedding dress that I originally purchased. I have tried Craigslist & Ebay & the classifieds on WeddingBee. It's very discouraging. Did any of you have luck with any other websites? Any other suggestions on how to sell it?
Thanks :]
