I can’t relate entirely. We’re spending around 22,000 – however that includes the e-ring, bands, honeymoon, and rehearsal dinner [and other splurges like out of town bags & fresh donuts/coffee delivered to each room].

@greenidlady:  Yes, but wouldn’t you regret not having a wedding more?  At least that’s what I tell myself when I’m looking at the cost, lol.  My budget is $12k (was $10k originally).

@greenidlady:  45-60 guests [although over 100 invites will go out, most of our guests are 2,000 miles away and will not be able to make it]. And Indiana, Usa.

@greenidlady:  Where at in indiana?

My wedding isnt until 10/31/14 [Love halloween!]. So we have plenty of time.

However, we have actually purchased all of the materials for our centerpieces [ostrich feather ones], as well as guest book, flower basket, and all kinds of things. I love ebay!

@greenidlady:  I’m using the budget tool on weddingwire.com – it’s seriously great to see how much [estimate] everything will cost vs. how much we’ve spent/have to go!

It’s not halloween themed, although we will have a few halloween things thrown in here & there. Like these :

Not the glasses, the tags. They are toe tags to mark your drink with your name, date you expired, and how. We’ll use them as escort cards.

We’re not going crazy with the halloween stuff, I just wanted to throw in a little halloween fun for the little ones who’d be missing halloween.

@greenidlady:  I totally feel you, I wanted to just elope.  My FI is really insisting on a traditional wedding because of his family though.  I saved myself a ton of money by making everything myself (centerpieces, wedding programs, guestbooks, favors, etc.).  My wedding is local (less than 8 mi from my house), so transporting everything is going to be really easy.

@greenidlady:  Yeah, we’re doing all kinds of things. Candy buffet, photo booth, dance floor & dj, tasting hour [similiar to cocktail hour, but no cocktails!].
