@MissAsB I started working with my realtor at the end of August. At first I was just going to try to rent my place out, but then I decided I'd rather just sell the place. I had my place rented out for the past year, which was fine, but I just dont want to deal with the headache of it all. I'm losing a bit of money by selling, but since I put 20% down when I bought the place, I'll still get enough cash from selling to put a downpayment down on the new place.

well, I'm sad to report that our offer was not accepted. They didnt want to accept my offer because it is contingent on the sale of my condo. bah humbug.
Here's to hoping to have better luck this weekend. Another open house, more NEW home searching, and ........ diamonds!

...that today was a fantastic day.
#1. The ring shopping went well. :) We stopped back in with our jeweler, and he was able to get the right ring! Woohoo! We have one more appointment scheduled for next Sunday to pick out the actual diamond, and then the ball is in his court! Yippee!
#2. We went house hunting today and put an offer on a new place. We had previously made a backup offer on another house, but that didnt seem to be going anywhere, so we retracted that one and made a new one on a cute little ranch with LOADS of potential.
#3. I'm also trying to sell my condo...and in order for us to buy a new place, my old place needs to sell. My realtor thinks the Open House was successful, and that I should have an offer tomorrow.
