Well after 5 tests (incl a digital which tells you how far along you are) I am now quite shocked ( as not at all planned) but happy to announce that I am 5 weeks pregnant.
As I wont be telling friends or fam untill 12 weeks It feels great to tell all of you!
I hope that your child enters this world into a healthy and loving enviornment.

It is an exciting time, a little stressful because of the uncertainties of what will happen with work and my career, but happy and exciting!
i believe everything happens for a reason, and even though a baby was definately not on our radar for the next few years or so, it must have been meant to be. And we are pretty geared up to have kids, I am 29, Dh is almost 35, we own our own home, have finished all our studies, both have really good careers and have almost been married a year. As DH said, this is probably a good thing as otherwise we may have just kept putting it off.
We are now in saving mode as we were meant to go to Paris in June for a holiday, we are now going to bump that forward to March, so with that and a baby on the way, no more clothes and dinners out etc. But I am actually really excited and so is Mr simpleanchic!
We cant wait to tell the family at Christmas too!!! they will be over the moon!

Congratulations - I hope the pregnancy goes well for you & that you/hubs are doing better together. Definitely wasn't expecting this announcement after reading your other thread, but as you say, everything happens for a reason.
@jaguar: Thank you, I guess that is understandable, for the past 3 months we have been working hard at our relationship, and everything is going well. We didn't plan it, but we are very happy. I am a little stressed re what will happen with work, but hey I think the pros definately outway any cons, I am thrilled. Congrats! I know you will have a beautiful baby. Knowing how the baby dust has been blowing all over the bee, dare I say, it is going to be a girl? Anyhow, I am happy for you and your husband :)
