i think they would look fine together, but a stripped green/white would look better.
are your colors blue & green? mine are too!
Where did you find that blue striped tie? I'm looking for something exactly like that for the guys!
On the note of your ties... it's kind of hard to tell colors by looking at a computer monitor. Could you order one and then see how it looks next to the one you got for FI?
I agree with dns567! I love your FI's tie but think that a green and white striped tie would look better.
do you have any other choices? i don't think they look well together honestly....
I agree that striped would look better, but if you can't find it, what you have will be fine.
I agree that a striped GM tie would look better. How about this:

I want FI to wear a different tie from his GM to set him apart some. I've been looking online and this is the only one that I've found that I *LOVE*.
Now as far as the GM go finding a tie is trickier. I'll need an extra long one, a regular one, and a boys' one. Because of this the selection is fairly limited.
The time I'm thinking of (here) is just a basic green with a herringbone pattern.
Will these "go" or should I look for a striped tie for the GM as well? Or a non-patterned one for FI?
