My wedding will be next summer in a garden. The Mori Lee 4710 dress with a flower bodice would match the setting so well and is a lot prettier than in the picture, I had to sneak the pic b/c the store didn’t allow pictures. It is a ballgown but the train is pretty short and i like that b/c I don’t want to mess up a fancy train tromping around outside. However, I am afraid that it I will wish I got more sparkle since I always thought I wanted a lot of sparkle. The fabric, I think taffeta, isn’t my fav either but its not a dealbreaker. I am also quite tall (5′ 11″) so I wonder if the pouf is too much.
I love the beading on the other dress but it has a tulle overlay and the train is kind of long and delicate to be outside and it seems a bit generic compared to the other one. I also think the sweetheart neckline isn’t entirely flattering to my small bust.

I love the second one! I don’t like how the skirt attaches on the first one.

I think the second one is really pretty. Not a huge fan of the whole flower thing on the first one… but ultimately its up to you!

I love the first one! It is very unique and will be perfect for a garden wedding!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one! It is so romantic, and doesn’t look like a lot of the other dresses out there right now. I.Love.It.

The second one is a wee bit Normal wedding dress, but still nice. I love the flower bodice on no.1, but I do think the waist is quite weird on it, like AsB says it attaches kinda strange. It seems like it makes your hips wider than they are. Maybe something in the shape of the 2nd, which is very flattering, but with differnet detailing, more delicate than diamante?!

I love number 1 so much I kinda want it…

I much prefer the second one. The first one is a bit odd at the hip. The second one looks beautiful on you!

Thanks for the opinions… I didn’t look at the thread all night until now but the skirt attachment on the first has been on my mind.

Honestly, it sounds to me like you don’t love either of them! I say go shopping some more!

I agree with bakerella! you’ll know without asking a board when you’ve found “the one”!!!

I think the first one is great! It’s more unique and suits your venue. Looks great on you too.

I love the second one and the train can be taken off by a seamstress, I am not crazy about the skirt on the first one.
