Oh that's sad! I've always had really great experiences with Snapfish :(
I'm sorry your albums won't be in time for Thanksgiving, but what great Christmas gifts!!
Ack, sorry to hear that, that's a shame. I'd be upset too.
I'm so-so about Snapfish. It's the only online photo site thingy I use. I recently ordered two photobooks (gifts for my mom and my future in-laws) during their buy one, get one sale. I also had technical difficulties--several photos wouldn't work in the book, for whatever reason. A message would pop up after checkout (grr!) and tell me I had to reupload those photos. I guess I was lucky I got a message and not just a cancellation!
I did redo the books and received them quickly. They're nice, I think the parents will be happy with them.
The other thing that annoys me about Snapfish is it seems to require people to create an account to view your photos, or something. I've had people tell me they couldn't view our photos due to this, but I'm not sure exactly what the deal is.
There's a promo going on right now at a site called Photoworks.com through the Bonnie Hunt Show. There's a link to it on the Photoworks home page. You can get a free photobook, free shipping and all. I just made a simple one today to give to my fiance for Christmas--for free, why not? I think this is limited to 'while supplies last' but it's a good deal if you can get in on it.

I ordered albums for the parents from Snapfish on 11/4. I had been checking my mail and looking for them for about 2 weeks now and have been checking my account which say my order is "in processing". I live 3 hours away from home, so I wanted the albums to arrive before Thanksgiving so I can bring them with me. I planned on calling yesterday to check the status of my order, and when I looked at my account for my order number the status was "cancelled". Umm, no one contacted me about this and my checking account hasn't been credited the cost of the products. After calling Snapfish customer service all they can do for me is refund my money to my card (which they should have done the minute they cancelled it) and I had to re-place my order. Apparently my order was cancelled due to technical difficulties at the time of my order. So now, I'll be getting my albums late and my family won't get theirs until I see them on Christmas (unless I pay more to ship it).
The only positive is that I was able to use a 50% coupon that was mailed to me yesterday so I saved quite a bit on my order. That said, I would almost have prefered to be able to give my family their album this weekend.
Sorry, just had to vent, I was pretty ticked off. What are other people's experiences with Snapfish??
