So sorry! I don’t have any current embarassing things (but the day is only half over, so…) but I can totally relate to having a car loving SO.  We just got a brand new (2015!) car.  I was washing it a couple of weeks ago and I noticed a tiny little scratch on the door.  I didn’t tell him about it and instead went up to the dealership, bought some of the chip repair paint, talked to the head of the detailing and convinced him to do the paint for me.  It was quite the adventure for just a 1 inch scratch but I knew my DH would flip if he saw it so he doesn’t know.  I am still so worried about the first time a rock comes up and dings the windshield or there is a bigger scratch on the door that he notices, let alone a dent…he would kill me!!  Boys and their cars!

Oh no! I scraped the side of my car against a wall trying to leave a really narrow space. My husband was in the car with me saying that I was too close. Our car is pretty small so usually when he says that, he’s wrong. But this time.. he was right. Oops!

I put my car into the side of a turkey hill (gas station like 7-11). I was SLOWLY pulling into the space, and my foot hit the gas instead of break. Woops. DH was a cop, and it happened in his township.. She he never heard the end of it.

I ripped one of my mirrors off on a big concrete pole while trying to back into a parking space because I forgot that even if I had clearance for my car, the mirror still stuck out.

lol, don’t feel bad. Happens to everyone sometime.

I was once borrowing my mom’s car while mine was getting some TLC at the shop… I was driving my friend to work and we decided to stop and get coffee at the Java City drive thru… Me not being used to the car, I plowed into the coffee stand and the entire left mirror broke off… In front of my friend, the people working in the coffee hut and people around. They said it sounded like a bomb went off.  And cost me 450 dollars to fix.  Needless to say I’m never allowed to borrow a car from anyone again LOL hope you feel better 🙂
