Have you tried looking on the preowned sites for the Amour Brooch? You might be able to find it for less!

Do you plan to wear heels? I know you’re 5’2″ and the seller is 5’6″ and wearing heels…I’m sure alterations can raise the skirt up to your proportions. 🙂

It’s not an exact match, but I think the Capricho by San Patrick is very similar.  It has one shoulder strap but it is detachable.

I bought the San Patrick Capricho, and the shoulder strap is not detachable.  I’m having it removed and adding spaghetti straps.  The dress is stunning in person.  I think I paid around $1500 for it before tax and alterations.

Mori Lee also makes some similar dresses for relatively cheap, but they also look and feel much cheaper than the San Patrick dresses.  4866 is one possibility.  I tried on 4816 and it was nice, but it doesn’t have an asymmetrical waistline.  The skirt is also very poufy on that one.

Are you set on trying to find the real thing or have you even considered getting a knockoff or replica??

If you aren’t completely opposed to replicas, you could probbably get your dreamm dress made to fit you for less than $500. I’m getting mine from dressilyme and it’s costing under $300 for everything including shipping.

Hope this helps.

Yep I agree with Thrakena.   I got a replica dress.  It’s gorgeous and was $400 cheaper than the original.
