- Wedding: September 2013
I made my wedding invitations months ago and they look beautiful but that was then and this is now.
There has been so much drama with the wedding colours that it has slowly been migrating to a different scheme.
My original colours were Burnt Orange, Chocolate brown and a hint of green.
Basically i wanted the guys to wear burnt orange cravats and the girls in Brown bridesmaids dresses with orange flowers but the guys have pretty much point blankly refused to wear orange and the FMIL thinks brown dresses might be too dark.
I took all their feedback on board and decided that the bridesmaids will wear sage green dresses and the guys can have matching cravats but the orange flowers i like looks a bit off with the dresses.
My invitations are brown and orange. The card stock is brown and i have an orange paper cala lilly and orange ribbon on the front.
Now im contemplating trying to take off the orange flower and ribbon and replace with a white lilly and sage green ribbon.
Should i attempt this or leave them be and just have the invitations not matching the scheme?
