@Ninteenthchance:  Wow. Well I like to play “two can play at that game”. Call it immature if you want, but it got the message across in my relationship. My FI did the EXACT same thing (minus the girl, which is so very wrong) early in our relationship. So I said fine, you had your fun, now I’ll have mine. A couple days later I went out without him and didn’t come hom til 2am. He was not happy. But he never did that again. And neither did I. But add a girl on top of the basic lying about coming home. GRRR! I would be extremely upset! I guess he’s lucky he never did that, I can get a little crazy when I’m pushed.

You absolutely have to make it 100% crystal clear that what he did is totally, completely unacceptable if he wants to remain in a relationship with you. If you don’t he will continue to act that way.

Fuck that noise.  He would be finding himself locked out of the house, and definitely out of my bed.

@Ninteenthchance:  Ugh, that sucks. Not having a daughter, I have 5 kids. Kids are awesome. But it sucks that you’re stuck at home. Does he go out a lot? If he does it might be time to rethink the relationship. It’s hard to be a dating parent. You need someone at the same place in their lives as you are. Grown up at least. My parents actually divorced over it. My mom stayed home all the time with me and my sister while my dad never stopped going out like he was single. Not with other women, but he just wasn’t home. She grew bitter and resentful (and I do not blame her) and finally by the time I was 7 she couldn’t take it anymore. What is the point of being married or in a serious relationship if you’re living your life alone anyway? I hope your SO realizes what’s important. Get your point across and see if he mans up.

Oh HELL no.  I understand him wanting to go out with his buddies, but lying about coming home and then lying about the girl? NO.  You need to have a serious talk tomorrow 🙁

@Ninteenthchance:   Wake his ass up and tell him to get on the sofa!  Nope.

Eta: I am pissed off for you that I just smacked myself in the face with my phone. Lol

@Ninteenthchance: Hmm…well the local bar I go to, I know those bartenders get out around 3-3:30am. Bar closes at 2, they kick the straglers out at 2:30, then they have to clean up. If he’s closing 3-3:30 doesn’t seem late. I’m confused though, is he allowed to drink while he’s bartending? Or do they close earlier than 2am? Anyway 1-3 times a month…I mean everyone is different. It does seem a little weird to leave your SO at home alone and go out 1-3 times every month. I’m gonna make a huge assumption that he doesn’t have any kids. I don’t want to tell you what to do with your relationship, but the leaving me home alone to go out with other people + meeting up with a girl would not sit right with me ever. ever. ever. You really have to have a serious “look me in the eyes and understand what I’m telling you” talk so he gets that this is not a small deal. You live together, so it should be a serious relationship. IMO he’s not acting like it. Maybe this guy is not ready for a serious relationship.
