How about lots of white with green accents. You know nature like. The green the color of leaves and lots of curly willow with white peonies. You could use white filmy fabric to decorate, maybe some white lace. If your in the mountains it would be like bringing nature in but in an elegant way. It could be beautiful especially if there are a lot of windows.
Ivories and gold might be nice, with evergreen (like PP). Oh, and your venue sounds gorgeous!
wintery and romantic, what about cream and navy blue? or you could always do black and white, a romantic classic.
Personally I love Navy and seafoam green, you can do just about any color combo you like I think... go for it

Hey there Bees, I recently got engaged to the man of my dreams just a few months ago and we decided we wanted to get married on 12.12.12. Now.... we have put a deposit on a chateau in the mountains, and its absolutely beautiful there, but I'm having the hardest time in the world deciding on a theme and color combinations. Every site out there suggest the usual white/silver/blue, cream/brown/green/, red/white/gold etc etc. I want it to feel wintery and romantic, and definitely not run of the mill. I'd like to avoid the whole "christmas theme" as well. If any one has any other ideas I would gladly welcome them... I'm certain I'm the least creative person on the face of the earth right now. Lol, thanks in advance :)
