Yup, when I tried on wedding bands and wraps/engancers with my e-ring they fit perfectly but theyt were a size 7 and my e-ring is a 5.5 I know what you are talking about and it is frustrating

yep! I’m a size 5, but when I wear more then one ring, I have to have them sized up to a 5.5 or a 6! I think it’s normal, with more then one ring. I was also told that if I want to have them soldered, I’d have to have the wedding band sized up as well.

I find ring sizes are not as consistent as one would hope.  Aim for something that doesn’t feel tight, but only slips off when you work conditioner through your hair.

@oxstardust421xo:  We have not ordered anything yet because I am still looking. I want something I can wear w/ or w/o me e-ring. I won’t buy a ring unless it fits when I try it on in the store.

@oxstardust421xo:  My wedding band will be a 6, my Ering will stay a 5. Once their both on, its fine. Im leaving it sized up incase I do get them soldered.

There was a thread on here recently about what size people went with for wraps/enhancers. I think everyone said they went up by half a ring size for all the rings!

The opposite thing happened to me when I went to have my promise ring sized last year. The jewellers here use really wide sizing bands and my ring is only 1mm wide. With the wide sizing band, I was a Slovenian size 6 (US size 3.75 or 4 I think) and the ring was nicely snug, not spinning but not digging into my finger either. So I had it sized down to a size 6 and now it’s spinning on my finger! It’s definitely at least half a size too big (Tiffany’s in Munich sized my finger to be an American size 3.25, for reference).

It was my fault though because the lady at the shop warned me that wide rings fit tighter! She told me she frequently advised people to size up when ordering wide bands. I suppose the same effect happens when you stack multiple rings too. Why that happens, I have no idea though.

If you have mltiple rings on, it displaces more flesh on your finger, causing the set to feel tighter.

@oxstardust421xo:  The more ring you have on your finger, the size goes up.

So if you just had one, big, fat ring, your size would be larger than if you had one skinny ring. This isn’t weird.

like PPs have said, the wider the band(s), the more size you need. my e-ring fit perfectly, and when I added my wedding band, I had to size them both up 1/2 size. this is very common, don’t be upset!
