@mrskane:  I’m sorry that you aren’t feeling well. That’s to be expected sometimes with pregnancy. Each one is different.

FYI The title of your post is not going to go over well with women that are TTC or have lost a baby. You signed up for 36+ weeks of sharing your body with another human being and growing life. It’s not easy. There are medications to help with nausea and vomiting.

@mrskane:  sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m only 10w5d but feeling like death for most of that. I’m ready to move along with this whole pregnancy thing, too! When are you due?

@MrsMaskatoBe:  I think she is allowed to say she is ready to deliver. I am sure I will feel that way as I move further along and I think it is totally natural. It does not mean she is ungrateful or taking her pregnancy for granted. She sounds like she is having a rough time. If someone doesn’t like the title of the thread, they don’t have to open. No sense in looking for things to be offended by.

@mrskane:  sorry you’re feeling like crap. Pregnancy is sooo up and down. Hopefully you’ll hit an upswing soon! I prescribe you a piece of pie and a nice lay on the couch!

@mrskane:  Girl, I know how you feel. I’m 32w3d and I told my doctor today that “I’m done.” lol He was like “Yeah, your to the point where it’s getting uncomfortable.” I have felt amazing this whole pregnancy till yesterday, now I feel miserable. Only a few more weeks!

@mamadingdong:  Agreed.

@mrskane:  Also sorry you’re not feeling well –  I totally feel your pain.  I had all day, all night morning sickness until like week 24.  I was miserable and ended up losing over 20 lbs from constantly throwing up and food aversions.  But, I will say, now (at 40 weeks tomorrow!) I am the least uncomfortable pregnant lady ever. Where most of the women at my doctor’s office are begging to be induced because everything’s swollen or they can’t walk straight, I’m more like “Nah, I could go on like this forever :P.”  Everything else was a breeze.  Hopefully it turns out that way for you 😉

@MrsMaskatoBe:  Just because you signed up for carrying a baby doesn’t mean you can’t complain about it Frown I know women who had it tough at the end and wanted to deliver soon.

@mrskane:  Hope you feel better soon!

I feel your pain. I have horrible SPD so I can hardly walk around, let alone clean the house or do anything useful. I also have heartburn so I feel like a firebreathing dragon all day. I haven’t started working after summer vacation yet so I just stay at home and do nothing all day. I feel so useless and drained all the time. Completely the opposite to when I was pregnant with DD1.

@angela85:  Heartburn is the worst.  I remember hearing pregnant women complain about it before and just rolling my eyes and thinking “Alright, so just pop a TUMS, ffs – no brainer.”

But holy crap.  I live on TUMS and nothing helps.  Avoiding “trigger” food doesn’t even help.  Everything gives me heartburn.  I was a fire breathing dragon this morning and all I had was ice chips.  I mean, common, water?

@ZombieBullfrogHoller:  Oh, yes. How can water be a trigger!? It’s the same with me. And almost everything else. Only foodstuff that I’m sure doesn’t trigger heartburn is dairy products so I’ve been eating a lot of ice-cream. But I’ve been craving Snickers ice-cream and nuts are a trigger for me.. GRRRRR!!

I also can’t bend over without getting heartburn or feeling like I’m going to puke. So no tying my shoes or picking up toys that my 4 year old leaves everywhere!!

I know how you are feeling… I am just 9 weeks into my first pregnancy and I’ve been feeling extremely ill for the past 4 weeks.  Some days are really tough and it’s hard to think about how far I have to go (just hoping that the worst of the symptoms die down by the end of the first trimester).  I don’t have any advice but wanted to let you know that you’re not the only one feeling the way you do right now.

@MrsMaskatoBe:  this is a pregnancy forum to post about pregnancy…the good, the bad and the ugly/ whilst its incredibly sad that some people struggle to conceive or have lost a baby….it doesn’t mean people arent allowed to complain! particularly in an area of the forum dedicated to discussions related to having a baby

i for one am not loving my pregnancy – there i’ve said it!! i feel like ive had a rotten hangover for the last 3 months. and im getting fat! this doesnt mean i don’t want my baby or anything like that – but lets be honest here, babies are little miracles of life, but pregnancy pretty much sucks

im just praying the 2nd trimester is great before the 3rd one starts sucking big time too

@MrsMaskatoBe:  That was really rude and not needed. I find it offensive that you would saythat in a forum that is for pregnancy! I am 35 weeks and have had a lot of issues in my pregancy, but don’t see why I (and others) should not be allowed to discuss/complain about them. Pregnancy for some people can be really easy, and for others quite stressfull and just plain uncomfortable. This is a place for pregnant women to come and discuss anything pregnancy related, no one should be told they’re not allowed to write how they feel.

@mrskane:  Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! 🙁 I had awful morning sickness through weeks 7-9, it eased up from 10-13, but I still didn’t feel fabulous! Since entering my 3rd trimester I can now understand why they say the 2nd trimester is your best. I’ve had a hard pregnancy, but definitely felt my best in the 2nd trimester.

If I can give any advice with the sickness, i found it best to not let myself get hungry. Once I got the slightest feeling of hungar the sickness got to it’s worst.
