Ok, terrified might be a little strong. Adamantly opposed is probably closer. So I didn’t hire a videographer, because I didn’t have room in the budget. But my mom (who’s a great amateur videographer) just put the videos she took up online. I don’t think I’ll ever, ever watch them. The thing is I’m a shy person, and easily embarassed. But on my wedding day I was so deliriously happy I was awkward-proof. I sincerely wish all of you out there a day that wonderful. My husband and I decided about 4 days before the wedding that we would give in and do a first dance, so of course we never practiced and did the awkward 7th grade shuffle for 3 or so minutes. I know if I watch the video I’ll see how awful we were and it’ll ruin my beautiful memories. Of course I’m not going to tell my mom this, but I won’t lie if she asks if I’ve watched her videos. So have any of you married bees experienced this? Is it different with a professional video?
