While I know wedding planning and the combining of two families and two sets of friends and basically 2 lives can be stressfull and bring out the worst in people, some times it brings out the best…. I feel that the bee is a great place to get another perspective but I want liven up the joint and talk about what and why I’m thankful…
… I’m thankful for an amazing set of future in laws and my own parents as this wedding day would not be possible if it wasn’t for them…
…I am thankful for my sister and bm’s that are doing so much for me and much sooner then we anticipated since we moved our wedding up 11 months…
…I’m thankful for my mom and my sister for wanting to throw me a catered shower complete with favors, centerpieces, and pretty invites (my sister has been showing me)
…I am thankful for my wonderful fiance that keeps me grounded and makes me laugh when I get a little crazy about details/budgets etc.
I have a lot to do before Jan 14th but I can not wait to be come a Mrs to my Mr 🙂
What are you thankful for in this crazy wedding planning process???

aww, what a sweet post!
I’m super-thankful for how financially generous both my parents and FI’s parents are being! (we were totally not expecting this!) Well, it comes with a bit more opinions that I now have to listen to than I would have otherwise, but oh well!
And I’m just going to have wonderful IL’s for so many other reasons!

When we were planning, I was so thankful for in laws who were always there to lend a helping hand, and my mom for not pulling the “mom” card and just letting me do things my way. My bff did all our paper products, and saved us thousands, plus planned my bridal shower, and was just a rockstar throughout the entire process. Our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as awesome without her. My sister was awesome as well, and my biggest cheerleader. My grandma, for somehow pushing forward the hall transformation so I could have my wedding there, the first event in almost 30 years. My FIL, for understanding why I wanted a wedding, and making sure that I got it, even though that meant having to contribute to our house down payment a few months later.
We were really lucky when planning, we hardly had to deal with any family related drama

Today, I’m thankful for…
– two amazingly supportive and non-demanding families, eager to help us as much as they can.
– my FI, who just weathers the crazy, gives me a hug when needed, and does things like taste the coleslaw I found in the back of the fridge to tell me if it’s still good.
– the fact that the dog appears to no longer be sick.
– the extra two hours of sleep I got when I decided to snooze my alarm. Apparently it was needed.
