My good friend asked me to be her Matron of Honor! I am so excited that I get to throw some parties and craft my heart out. I was really mourning the end of wedding planning but now I get to fully immerse myself in the world of weddings for another year. Yay!!
So creative bees out there… I am looking for a creative theme for a bridal shower something out there and creative with whimsy like the Alice in Wonderland theme that is so popular. Thanks for your help!

What are the bride’s favorite books/TV shows/ movies? Work from there.

I’ve always thought that having a candy buffet at a bridal shower was a neat idea. People have them at weddings, why not at a shower?

I have to say my bridal shower was AMAZING, my sister did a spa theme. We all came wearing pajamas (my sister got me a tank top that says bride with my name and my bridesmaids all had shirts that they created themselves even my mom and grandma had shirts saying mother of the bride ect.) Anyways, my sister got people to come to the house to give us massages, which was FANTASTIC, we went in two at a time and while people got massages we played games, everything from wedding pictionary to bridal bingo! They also had stations set up for painting your nails, even the hot wax! I have to say it blew me away. I could not have asked for anything better!

@kaylee26: Very true. I will have to make up a list of questions to ask her to make sure I get it right.
@DJones6005: Martha’s editor in chief did an amazing job on a candy bar wedding that is all over the website. I would love to do it. Too bad the bride was Dylan the owner of Dylan’s Candy Bar!! Made it a bit easier and less pricey for sure!
@hollykirsten: That sounds amazing!! I wish we could do that but I have a feeling the guest list will be over 100 and she would definitely want semi-formal dress. Though I would love to sit around in pyjamas!

Here’s some, but nothing very semi-formal about them! We did an ‘Around the Clock’ theme and people were very creative with their gifts!
