I have to leave for an interiew for a teaching position in a half hour and am freaking out! I’m so nervous, but also excited! I’ve been preparing for a few days, but i’m worried they will ask me something that I will be unable to answer or will blank on.

Good luck! Is it an elementary, middle, or high school position (I am a para and Fiance is a choral director).

High school position, teaching IB geography (pretty much my dream job).
Thanks for the encoouragement ladies. I have terrible anxiety about interviews and i’ve never had a “real” professional interview so i’m very apprehensive. However, I’m off to it. Here’s hoping I don’t majorly screw it up at the very least 🙂

Good luck! Someone once advised me that if you have no idea how to respond, it’s better to just pause for a bit than to try to start talking and hope you get there…you can also lead with, “That’s a good question!” or something like that to buy you a little time to collect your thoughts. I’m sure you will do great!
