So just a question out of pure curiousity, but when it comes to first seeing your wedding, bridal, or engagement images, how do prefer to first view them. Do you want to see them first before your friends and family? Do you want to first see a few teasers on the blog/Facebook then a viewing gallery? How about a private viewing session in home or at the studio? What do you enjoy most when it comes to seeing your professional images?

i never really thought about this before, but i liked what my photographer did in that she blogged on her website our teaser pics. then when the rest were ready, she sent us a link to view the full gallery.
I can say i really enjoyed seeing her blog post, but i also admit i felt a bit let down when i saw the gallery. I realize now that the blog post were the best images of the day, so when only viewing those it increased my expectations that all 1000 pics I receive would be equal. so in hindsight i might have not experienced that temporary let down if i had just seen the full gallery first. After going through our gallery several times and working on selecting pictures for albums, i realize i had more than enough images i was 100% happy with. Even better, i might have been happiest if i just received the DVD of our pictures first. As i liked all my images better when i could see them full resolution on my computer screen and not just the watermarked thumbnails on the online gallery.

@dynamic_duo: That is a great response and exactly what I was hoping to hear. There are so many different ways to present images to brides sometimes that I feel it may be a bit overwhelming for them and not the most affective way to do so. I mean there is blog images, Facebook images, images in your gallery, and then your disc of images…. thats a whole lot of image viewing! Thank you for your response!
