I have a relatively short engagement (6 months) and live in place with no wedding shops. The first time I went shopping (with my mom) I fell in love with a dress that was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted. I liked the way it fit and I felt very bridal in it. The dress was very reasonably priced and did not need any alterations so I bought it that day and it’s now at my mom’s house. I really like the dress but I wonder if I was too hasty. What do you think of it? Is it special enough?

I like the dress a lot on you. And you’re getting married on my birthday 🙂

It’s prety. Maybe jazz it up with a rhinestone belt?

It actually has a beaded sash type thing but it doesn’t show up in the fuzzy blackberry photo

I think it looks awesome. I bought my dress the 1st time I went out.

I think it’s beautiful. It looks perfect on you.

Love the dress! I agree with Birdie, a rhinestone belt would complete the look.
ETA: Just saw your reply about the sash. The dress is perfect then!

I love it! I think it’s gorgeous and looks great on you. You can always dress it up a little more with fun shoes and jewelry if you think it’s too simple, but I think it’s beautiful!

@skbride: Darn right it’s special enough, I love it. Remember you’ll have jewellery to accessorise with it 😉

I LOVE it. I’m obviously a teeny bit biased because it looks a lot like my dress, but I think it looks great on you. You could perhaps step it up a little bit with a differnt belt if you wanted, but I think the whole thing will come together beautifully.

What kind of wedding are you planning? Indoor/outdoor, daytime/night time, super formal?
