I am meeting with a potential dj tonight and haven’t had a chance to document questions to ask. I feel so behind. Usually, I am more organized than this.
Can someone point me in the correct direction to a good dj worksheet?
Please and thanks in advance!

I dont know of a good DJ worksheet but I would ask him a few things
How much talking/MCing does he do? Discuss your preference.
Tell him you dont want any special surprises (ours did a FUN break dance in the middle of our reception)
Ask him what his favorite songs to get people dancing are

Has he dj’ed at your venue before?
Does he have any type of backup system?
Will he take requests (both from you beforehand and your guests the night of)
Ask about any special things – does he do lights, fog machine if you’re interested.
We asked ours if he played videos and/or how he handled the age groups present (i.e. not playing inappropriate music) This was after we attended a wedding a couple weeks prior in which the dj played the music video during the song. BAD IDEA – first of all, people watched instead of dancing, and second he played the video/song for the “I like big butts” song. In front of little kids and grandmas. Needless to say, we wanted to make darn sure our dj wouldn’t be doing something like that!
