Weddingbee boards

Are they looking for just a reception location or a venue for the whole shebang? Indoors or outdoors? Price range? Religious or secular?

FI and I have been ceremony location scouting all around Raleigh for the past several weeks, so we know of some places. The trick is finding something that's not already booked for such a close holiday.

Well your cheapest option would probably be to rent out some government-owned place. Parks and Rec types of buildings. Go the the city of Raleigh website and it has a section specifically for Parks and Facilities. I think the Arboretum near State is pretty reasonably priced and everything should be in bloom. There's a weird cool old hotel downtown that has a circular restaurant at the top. It's the Clarion. And, of course, you've got your pick of churches with all sorts of banquet halls attached, but they'd probably want you to do the ceremony there too.
