Depends on your region. I am having two hair dressers drive two hours to our hotel to do me and the BM's hair. They are charging us $30 a head, and I am giving them $80 for gas. This was a cheaper option than having our hair done in a salon where I am getting married.
@otb That is really cheap. I think in the salon I will play $40 or $30 for my hair. Are you paying for all of your girls?
I charge $30 for updos, and $60 for bridal because that includes a trail, plus brides are so much pickier lol. Post an ad on craigslist. Most hairstylists have portfolios, if not tell them you'd like them to bring a model for an updo. I know a lot of hairstylists who would jump at doing a bridal party because its as much money as they'll make all day in a few hours.
@ OTB, you are getting QUIET a deal! We always charged WAY more than that in salon, and even more when we had to go out of salon!

What are the costs to have someone come to your home the day of your wedding to do your hair and other peoples hair? I am just curious before I decide what to do.
