he showed up (thank god i was at work) at our apartment at like 830am, brought over an old family friend fr out of town?, without notice, DH just woke up out of bed and house was a mess cuz the whole family just left at 1030pm from dinner last night. its like seriously dude! ugg

and how can i sum up my BILs wife: my sil well  in so many words ” do whatever it takes, ruin as many people’s lives, so long as you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose or people you leave dead and bloodied along the way, just so long so you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, ”  lol sorry couldnt help myself. love zoolander and the first thing that came to my mind.

@sarahroby:  I suppose everyone has one of these! At first, I thought of DH’s family- and disagreed because they are awesome BUT THEN I remembered my younger brothers insane gf!

They have a 2 year old together and have been on/off frequently. Even since they’ve had a child. It’s crazy. They break up ALL THE TIME. She sent a text to my mom that said

“We’re engaged! All of my dreams are coming true! We are having another baby!”

Now, under normal circumstances, that would not have been odd. In this case, I scrolled up and the most recent message she has sent my mom less than a week prior to this said something along the lines of,

“Never talk to me again! Your son is abusive and you raised him and don’t contact us and this includes the baby too!”

Anyways, I got ahold of my brother 2 days after this supposed engagement. He said that they definitely weren’t engaged and it turned out that they aren’t expecting another baby. (Yet. I’m not sure if that is in the works or not, but I sure hope it isn’t. Their baby was even seized by child protective services at one point. Adding another would just be awful.)

TLDR: At first, I disagreed. But you are right! Inlaws can indeed be a massive headache. Then a story about my wacky kinda-sister-in-law.
