@bridetobe75:  HEAVY?! I think you are GORGEOUSLY slim/slender/skinny!

If anything, the ballgown/slip makes you look even smaller!

You look beautiful! And adding a slip to a dress CAN make a whole world of a difference! I remember at my last fitting I knew something wasn’t right with my dress. I knew it was my dress and I still loved it and it fitted correctly but something didnt look right and I couldnt pin point what it was! I go back to the dressing room and it was my slip on the floor! I got so excited to put on my dress I forgot to put on the slip! I was excited again!

@bridetobe75:  A plastic-boned corset might only add width. So you could always go steel-boned, but as someone who spent 4 years waist-training, they can be VERY hot and VERY uncomfortable!

@bridetobe75:  I wore this underneath my dress. It pulled in my stomach great! I got it from DB

Once it’s been tailored to fit you, it will nip in at your waist and show off your beautiful silhouette.  It definitely will not make you look heavy.

Also, photographs are all about posing/positioning.  If your arms touch your side and you can’t see any air/space, then it makes you appear larger than you are.  To avoid this illusion, I usually turn a little to the side so I’m not photographed straight on and put one hand on my waist.

    You look beautiful!
