i think love comes easier than "in love." i love dh because i trust him, he's my best friend, etc. i'm i"in love" with dh because of the x factor - this unspoken connection. the "i can't wait to just *be* with you all the time. i don't want to be trite and say soul mates, but you get the idea. it, for me, has nothing to do with the sparks of sex/infatuation (that's a whole other story).
i think theres a difference... i am in love with my dh... like seriously! hes my better half:)... but i love cheese, i love wb, i love my furbabies... (okay maybe im in love with them too!) :)
I definitely agree there's a difference.. I love plenty of people.. My family, my best friends, I love my cat, and I love chocolate.. But I am so in love with hubby it's ridiculous. I love him for the person he is, I love spending time with him, but I know that I am in love with him because it's just such a different feeling.. I can't even really explain it.. It is like a deeper connection..
as far as saying "i love you" or "i'm in love with you" i say "i love you." i rarely say "i'm in love with you".....i don't know why. I'm in love sounds....fleeting? i feel like i said it at the beginning of our relationship, but not so much now. idk why. sometimes if i'm feeling really sappy i say "i'm more in love with you now than ever before" lol.

I am wondering if there is a difference between saying that you are in love with your husband and loving your husband? What is your opinion?
