i think it would look really pretty with it, do you have pictures of it together?
The Tacori might work! I don't think it would look that bad. A lot of rings don't sit perfectly flush.
I think it's fine to not match and not sit flush, as long as it's something you are ok with. For example, halo rings with bands that don't contour around, so don't sit flush. I think it's all in what you like!
I'd have one custom designed to fit YOUR ring that mimics the Tacori. I think you can still get the look!
Ironically, I have the e-ring that matches that scalloped band. AND, I didn't get the matching band. Instead, I went with a simple band that doesn't sit flush against it. And, I'm glad I did! It isn't that off, and I love it.
I will say, though, the scalloped band might be thicker than you want. I'd go try it on somewhere and see what you think - no matter what. Ultimately, that's how I decided with a simple band, I tried on about 10 different ones ranging from the matching one to a slight scallop to simple and the simple band looked best.
Good luck!
Oh - and that scalloped band, with diamonds all the way around, is about $4k - if budget is a concern... Halfway around diamonds is about $2500.
@crebre08 - I don't have pictures of them together, I will go back to the store and take pictures!
Thank you all for your input! :-D
1) Rings don't have to sit flush unless you want them too.
2) How about wearing your e-ring on your right hand after the wedding?
Ditto ejs - find a local jeweler who will make a really similar band to the Tacori one, that will fit comfortably with your band. You'll pay less because a lot of the price of Tiffany, Tacori, etc is just the name.
Thats ring is so pretty! I say do it if you love it because you know youll keep going back to that "ONE"...just like wedding dresses!
I actually found my wedding band this weekend too. I thought I wanted the matching band to my e ring, its a micropave eternity band. But I later decided against it, because it look too plain by itself (I wont wear my e ring to work after the wedding because I work in a hospital). So I decided on a double pave setting that is gorgeous (alone and together with the e ring) but it doesn't sit flush with my ring, but I didn't let that bother me!
So I was gonna suggest you get it, because maybe there might be a time where you don't wear your e-ring and you still have a beautiful band to show off!
I second Cheerful - you could always consider wearing them together even though they don't sit flush, or wearing your e-ring on your right hand. All of the rings are lovely!
They are really pretty bands! I'd have to see them together but I'm sure they'll work. But I do like the idea of designing a ring to make sure its perfect. Seems fun! Let us know what you end up doin' :)
I love the look of that tacori - and yes, see if you can get it designed =D
Wow! That's a really beautiful band. I think you could totally make them work together. It would be kind of refreshing not to have the cookie cutter matching set that most brides get!
Honestly i think the tacori would look fine with it. And yes it is beautiful. I know a girl who had a e ring like that and got a huge bottom round with diamonds ring and and it was bad, but the one you want the sets are small enough not to look out of place.
Personally, I would totally wear your E-ring with those bands. I don't think rings always have to be perfectly "matchy matchy". I think your E-ring and that wedding band would look really cool together.
Those bands are both gorgeous. If it helps, my band doesn't sit completely flush against my ering and i think they still look pretty darn good..
I'm going against everyone and saying I dont think its the best Idea I love the style of both but its going to sit out heaps. Someone else sug getting a band made to that style but so it will fit and I think that is prob the way to go.
i'm with simpleandchic... it matters to me that the rings go together. however, if you really don't care, don't worry about it! and you can always wear it on your other hand too....
I think your ER and the Tacori will look fine together. I would just make sure that both rings are made of the same metal. Do you have a platinum ER?
Anyway, since the Tacori is platinum, it would work out best if your engagement ring is, too. That way, one ring won't be eating away at the other. Platinum is really strong, and it'll wear a softer metal down much faster if the two are worn together. If both metals are the same, though, I say go for it!
And, show us pictures of the rings together if you have any! :)
omg that is the expensive version of mine! (mine is from zales) and i just plan to spread the love and bling and wear them on 2 different hands. when you take the wedding out of it, there is something sort of wierd about 2 rings on 1 finger with all those other naked fingers lol.

I fell in love with this Tacori scalloped wedding band, it's just so unique and pretty, it has both channel and pave settings with milgrain detail.
I have a 3-stone engagement ring, not as detailed as the Tacori ring I've been eyeballing all day long..
Then I came across the Tiffany ring that has scallops like the Tacori but it doesn't make my heart drop like the Tacori.
What would you do? Any recommendations? Scalloped rings will not sit flush with my engagement ring at all. Should I just get a plain ring and get one of the scalloped rings for my right hand?
HELLP, I need your honest opinion.
