hmmm - by memory they look similar to the shoes that DoctorGirl was going to wear with her wedding, but in red
would you wear them after the wedding??? if yes then justify away!
Fluevogs=YES YES YES!
Do you ever read Offbeatbride? The site's author has a wee obsession with those shoes, so you maybe be able to find some great pictures of brides in fluevogs if you do a search.
Fluevogs are AWESOME. I have 2 pairs, both that I got on sale (though they were still pricey, ack!). They are so comfortable and sturdy. It's a big purchase but they are very high quality shoes. If they fit your style and you'll wear them again, then I say they are worth the cost!
I have a pair of Fluevogs (Mini Qtee) that I wear to EVERY single fancy occasion I go to (I plan my outfits around them!).
@MerryMary, yes! I love OBB, and the peeks of Fluevog under dresses.
I will totally wear them after the wedding, it's just waiting that long! If I buy them, I'll probably wear them around the house to break them in and stare at my feet :)
Any other Fluevog brides out there?
Those are rocking shoes! and yeah I think those look very similar to what doctor girl wore for her wedding.
Yes! It looks like she wore the Mini Sugar! And they look awesome on her photographer's blog.

I have such a shoe problem.
I did wear the Sugar. There was lot of talk of my shoe choice on wedding day, and even a few try-ons later in the night!
Doctorgirl, they're amazing - I saw the pics on your photographer's blog, and there are some awesome shots with your shoes (and is it crazy that I could ID them from the pictures? I have such a problem).
Doctorgirl - those are the boots I bought to wear to my wedding! I just need some silver laces to finish them off.
@Gilneas-I'm glad I'm not the only one that plans her outfits around her shoes!
I had never heard of Fluevogs until Doctorgirl showed us her boots. Now I'm in shoe love.
@tessabella76: I've bought dresses because I knew they would look good with my Fluevogs. They're expensive, but completely worth it. And they have fabulous colors, too (I'm always a fan of green shoes).
I love them.. I bought a pair of JF sandals to wear with my wedding dress and am thinking those libby boots are much cuter!
Thanks to you ladies I am now in love... Not only that I found shoes for my wedding. I needed flats or low heel and I wanted unique, different and colorful! Look what I found!
Erisque- I couldn't find laces long enough to replace mine with. I gave it a good try, though and ultimately decided to stick with the laces they came with... but you're right, silver would be awesome. If you find a good source will you let me know?
Thanks!
What do you think of these? They only come in black. Is black too much of a contrast for an ivory dress?
leloo... those black shoes would be fabulous with an ivory dress. put an ivory ribbon in them if you wanted.
ugh i adore fluevog... especialls since i am from vancouver and his shoes haunt you every where you go. if you see a pair and you like them, and can see yourself wearing them after the wedding that is pretty much the only way to justify spending so much on a pair of shoes. but you will love them.
Sorry leloo that I didn't see your post until now, but I think those boots will be great!
Last night I went to a dinner party and everyone requested that I wear my boots... They are going to get plenty of wear ;)
@leloo - They used to come in more colors - if you have time and are willing to put some effort on it, check out eBay or create a search that will email you - I know they were once made in green and maybe white, too.
Just found you post.
I'm a Fluevog bride.

It's an outdoor wedding so I wont sink into the grass. But really I would have taken any excuse to wear them.

Anyone else out there a Fluevog fan?
I was browsing the website today and stumbled across these shoes and I am IN LOVE with them. If I could marry a pair of shoes, I would go to the court house with this pair tomorrow. [Warning - if you've never been to the Fluevog website before, and you click over, I am not responsible for you wanting every single pair of shoes there!]
They'd look AWESOME with my dress, but I am having a lot of trouble justifing the cost. I've given myself a week to decide if they are, indeed, the shoes for me, or if it's just puppy love.
What do you think?
