Ok/ Gotta admit it. This is one helluva flower. I plan to mix it with some ruffley garden roses and if I can find it, an other rose which carries my name!
Recently I met a new friend and our sons are on the same ball team. She introduced me to this rose. It’s huge. It’s gigantic. It smells fabulous. It is NOT for the faint of heart, but if you’re into peonies, large gorgeous blooms, then check this baby out! I think it’s from either Ecuador or Peru?
I did a bit of Weddingbee research and found that Miss Apple from January of 2007, had the most gorgeous centerpieces featuring this knockout flower!
Here is alsoa pic of a gorgeous knottie and her esperanza bouquet! It is ivory with pink tinged edges..I’ve been blogging and going nuts about flowers lately btw.

ohmigosh! I was at a dear friend’s house earlier today and we were discussing my gardening plans. She has a ton of gardening books & one she gave me to look through was all roses….I think I’m in love with about 10 different ones right now. I love the esperanza! There were several others that were similar with a ton of petals…very old world, romantic looking. Now I’m totally re-thinking my wedding flowers….eeek 🙂 (And I heart peonies too)

Yep..you and I are on the same wavelength..there’s a certain rose with my name and I’ve grown it before actually. In fact a few days ago I asked T if we could order it and plant it in a few places around his house!
The Esperanze is so large..the blooms. I love it so much!I think it’s a knockout with peonies and garden roses!
