I’m almost 33 and trying to decide on anti aging products. Currently I use the Clarisonic Mia for eyes, Ole Henriksen Vitamin C Truth Serum, Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Moisturizer, Neo Cutis PSP Eye cream and sunscreen in the morning and the Truth Serum, Eye Cream at night as well as Korres Overnight Facial. I was using retin A but got out of the habit when I had a couple of chemical peels in Nov and Dec.
If I do not use the Clarisonic Mia, my eye wrinkles are more prominent. When I do use it, the results last for about 4 or 5 hours. I have the parenthesis around my mouth and light lines on my forehead if my skin is not dry. The parenthesis fade but do not completely disappear if my skin is well hydrated.
Ok so what do you recommend? What works for you? I am getting married next May and want to ward off as much “aging” as possible before then.

I went to my derm and got prescription retin a. I also do a little botox for the wrinkle between my eyes. Works like a charm. Anyway, your derm can prescribe a regimen that beats anything over the counter.

I love my dermatologist buttt she is more into aging beautifully than preventative creams, etc. It is hard to switch from her because I feel comfortable with her. Another dr in her office actually prescribed the retin A for me when I needed to see a derm and she was unavailable. I guess I really should just change drs but I feel a little odd having my 6 mth skin cancer screens performed by a man (the rest of the office is men).

Well, I would change if your doctor will not prescribe Retin a. It has been around forever and does help you age gracefully, IMO. Nothing over the counter that I have tried works like it. You can probably get it at a med spa as well.

For hydration, Elizabeth Arden ceramide serum makes my skin very happy. I use it nightly. 🙂 http://www.beauty.com/elizabeth-arden-ceramide-skincare-youth-restoring-serum/qxp451924?catid=298245
