I love all my Calvin Klein heels. They are very comfortable and have good inner padding and a nice bottom sole that is “grippy”, you can find a variety of styles, colors, etc.

I often get them through 6pm.com because they have some great deals.

I wear LL Bean skimmers because I live in Portland and they are stylish, comfortable and protect my feet from the cold. I get a lot of compliments on them.

@HonoraryNerd:  Fuck heels. Do you want nasty bunions when you get older? No, you do not. Walking on a Cloud is expensive but they make great, comfortable shoes. Okay, they aren’t the best looking but your feet deserve to be taken care of. If there is anything I splurge on, it’s shoes. I hate the look of nasty mangled feet. E-yuck.

@HonoraryNerd:  Aldo has very comfortable heels.  they aren’t very elegant, but they are so good to your feet!

I’ve heard Born and Clark are pretty comfy. I’m a fan of Frye myself but the comfort level would probably depend on the individual shoe.

I have had a great experience with shoes by “me too”- they sell them in Nordstrom, and you can frequently find them at Nordstrom Rack for a lot less

As strange as it may sound, my most comfortable heels are a pair of Madden Girl pumps. There are two heel heights. I chose the shorter of the two (I think it’s 3 inches). There are tons of colors. I have the nude ones. They were actually my wedding shoes and now I wear them all the time. They go with almost everything! I only spent $40 on them, too. Comparing them to my WAY more expensive Clarks heels, there’s no contest. I paid so much for the Clarks because they are supposedly so comfortable. My feet hurt after about 30 minutes of wearing the Clarks, though. I can run around in my Madden Girl shoes for long stretches of time and still not want to cut my feet off. 🙂

I second Calvin Klein. Very comfy. I don’t own a pair, bt Cole Haan’s are supposed to be great. They have nike air cushioning in them

I’m wearing my comfy heels today!  I just checked, they are Aerosoles.  If you go into an Aerosoles store there will be lots of old lady-ish shoes, but there are usually cute ones mixed in there too!

I’ve found Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes to be very comfy (flats and heels and wedges). Clarks also has some surprisingly cute shoes that are very comfortable. Doesn’t Cole Haan make shoes with Nike or something like that? I’ve heard those are very very comfortable, for heels.

@HonoraryNerd:  I second @beachbride1216: Naturalizers are the way to go. After I scored a pair of low heeled black Mary Jane style pumps from Winners, I stopped buying crappy uncomfortable heels. Don’t be fooled by the fact that the stores haven’t updated their decor in forever, these are nice shoes. I also hear Fluevog is a great company. And way to go on the new job!
