In need of HELP!!

Hello Ladies!

I've been doing a lot of research on make up & just about every bride I've read on recommends M.A.C foundations, So last week I carried myself down to a local M.A.C store with my sister (who is also apart of the wedding party) and tried the Studio Fix Fluid. It looked great on my skin (in the store) and I heard that it works better than the powder and looks "Natural" (which is the look I am going for) in pictures, so I purchased it... So today, My sister and I tried our make up on. It looked absolutely perfect and flawless on her, as to where it looks like I mixed mine with baby powder!! I didn't use alot, Because I don't really wear make up and I just wanted that Natural look I keep hearing about, But It really isn't working. I tried out a lot of other make ups (i.e Sephora, & Bare Minerals) before I bought M.A.C, But M.A.C had the lightest foundation that still covered up what I wanted. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem Or if anybody has any suggestions on what I should do?

BTW- My wedding is in 2 weeks, So any advice would be helpful. THANKS!!!

Did they give you a primer to try out?  Sometime that will help the foundation look smoother/more natural.  Sometimes it can also be the applicator you use.  Otherwise head to Sephora and ask them to assit you.  I went there last week and they were super helpful.

I would go right back to MAC and ask them what is up. I would go to a different person in the store because they may give you a different perspective on your makeup. Long story short if they do not fix the problem return things and find the right makeup that works for you.

Best,

I use Clinique's "Almost Makeup".  I love it.  It evens out your skin tone but is technically a tinted moisturizer.  And a lot less expensive than MAC :)

Makeup Forever also has a great foundation, and I think Sephora carries that too. So if the MAC one doesn't work out maybe you can exchange it and get something new.

Try a lotion or primer first to help your skin soak it in properly - I have that problem when I use a new product too. Use it every day too, to get your skin used to it!
