In need of ideas for 2 hour long cocktail "hour"

I don’t think cards are tacky. My friends and I would probably play Sociables, haha. As long as there’s food I don’t think you need to worry TOO much about drunk people. I’m sure there will be a few, there always is, but they might be drunk after only an hour anyway. Some people just aim for it.

@Tarheelgurl:  You could limit the bar to beer and wine during the cocktail hour to reduce the likelihood of guests getting too drunk before dinner.  As far as games go, it depends on your venue.  With two hours you could set up a couple of casino tables and let guests gamble with fake money that has your wedding info on it.  You could also set up lawn games if the cocktial hour is outside; lots of brides do cornhole.
