Maybe try putting a cluster of lanterns in the center of each, under each peak? I have seen pictures of people clustering lanterns over the dance floor of one big tent, and I think that four clusters will probably look good also!!

I am soooo jealous of your tent prices!

I like the idea of clustering things in the middle of the tent as well.  I’m not sure if you’re buying the laterns at your destination or taking them with you but if you wanted another easy (packable) idea fo hang from the tent, we’re using the tissue pom pom kits that Martha Stewart has made for Michaels.  I’m not sure what you’re colors are, but the pom pom kit is in shades of cream and pink but they also have a paper flower kit that is in shades of blue and green or yellow and orange.  They’re very easy to assemble and if you use the 40-50% off coupons that come in the Sunday paper every week they’re pretty inexpensive.

I like the idea of a cluster in the center of each tent.  You could also wind smaller ones down the poles in the center and each corner.  this would give additional light and help insure that people don’t run into the posts.

catieb – We’re mixing laterns with the tissue pom poms.  We have a 30×50 foot tent and renting/buying enough laterns to give the "full" look I wanted was cost prohibited.  I reallyl love the way the tissue pom poms come out and I can’t wait to see it all together.  I’m sure we’d all love to see pictures of your arrangement after the wedding.  Good luck.
