Try smarty had a party. They have a huge number of options and all look nicer than regular platred

I found some white plastic ones by typing in “premium plastic divided plates”

I am also thinking acrylic, but that could get a little expensive.  Try looking somewhere that sells outdoor/patio dishes.

Oh and check the dollar store, and maybe IKEA or anywhere that you might be able to order childrens dishes…but in solid colours

If the caterer is going to be picky about the plates (not sure why he cares) then why doesn’t he supply them? I’m not sure how attractive you can get with plastic plates, let alone divided ones.
