Have you checked out Vitamin String Quartet? They do a lot of covers of popular songs, but it sounds a lot like classical music! We'll be using their stuff for almost everything in the ceremony!
I have checked them out....but as you said most of their stuff is string sounding and not folksy/gutar/bass sounding as my walking song. I may end up using there stuff becasue I am striking out with everything else.
Check out some Ray Lamontagne or Damien Rice, they're both amazing folksy guitar music.
They both look like good suggestions....but I am looking for instrimentals though.
what about Sufjan Stevens? Can't remember if he has many instrumental only songs, but he is a similar style.

I am trying to work on our ceremony play list today for the DJ and am running into a huge snag. While I love the traditional strings stuff ( I played the violin for 5 years as a child) I am doing a non traditional song ('The Way I Am' - Ingrid Michaelson) for my entrance and cant seen to find any instrmental music that goes with it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for prelude bp prosesional and resesional stuff. TIA!
