I am so sorry, you have to go through this....I too have had to deal with cancer with my mom, as well as my dad. It really is hard....but, I really do believe God answers prayers......I will be praying for you and and your family.....
I'm so sorry you have to go through this. She's definitely a fighter though, and I'm sure she has another fight in her! Your wedding will be all the motivation she needs I'm sure! You are most definitely in my prayers.
@Mrs.H2B: I am so sorry to hear this... my mum has just been diagnosed with her 2nd cancer recurrence (so will be in treatment for the third time) and like you, it's becoming part of our lives. I completely feel your pain - mothers are so important and you should definitely allow yourself time to feel through your emotions - don't feel guilty about it at all. I will be praying as hard as I can for your Mum to experience successful treatment and be present at your wedding next year!

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Mr. H and my prayers are with your family.
I am so sorry to hear about this! Know you are not alone. In the past two years my grandfather has had prostate cancer, my mother has breast cancer and we recently found out my grandmother has bone cancer. My wedding is about 15 months away and I'm worried everyone won't be there. Sending prayers your way.

I know how you feel, as my father passed away from cancer when I was 13, so he wasn't at my wedding. But I know that he was there in spirit and he was remembered throughout the day in a variety of ways.
"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted." (Psalm 34:18)

I am so sorry to hear this, I hope she pulls through this time again. Its making me cry just thinking about it, I can't imagine something happening to my mom. I'm not the praying type, but I feel the need to do it for you, cuz I understand how much your mom means to you
:-( So sorry you're going through this. She sounds like a very resilient woman, I have faith she'll get through this one too.
It seems like you understand how special your mother is. Spend all the time you can with her, record her on video or tape if you can. Write letters to eachother. Talk to her about the future, or just sit and say nothing.

I am sorry to hear this. I will keep her in my thoughts. We went through it twice with my mom. My mom has been my best friend since I was born. I really freaked out both times, of course not around her.

Just found out that my mother will be dealing with cancer for the fourth time. This has been something we've dealt with as a family since I was 16 ..but it keeps on coming back quicker and quicker each time. Feeling very low today ...it's a punch in the gut every single time. My mom is my best friend, and my wedding seems so far away; I can't even think of the possibility of her not being around for my special day, or even further away...to see her grandchildren.
She's my hero...every single time we get hit with this she is nothing but positive and has managed to get through it each and every time. The last time was harder than usual as she's getting older and it's harder to recover from surgeries.
