My iPhone 4s has been stupid for a long time (Apple has already replaced it for me twice), and yesterday it basically died (it wouldn’t connect to a network so I couldnt make/accept phone calls or texts). I did all the stuff I know to try (resetting things, rebooting, etc) but nothing worked. DH works in computers and is really good with that kind of stuff so I emailed him to see if he had any ideas of what to do to fix it.

His response was a forwarded email showing that he ordered me a new iPhone 5s!

My FI is so awesome!!! He’s a Ph.D student, soldier, and works full time yet he still manages to make me feel like I’m the only thing in his world even when he’s away. He’s so patient and kind and such a good sport about the wedding!!!! I love him so much!!

My FI has taken a shine to this weird picture of us where we both look a little drunk (we were at a wedding, so we were having fun). I think I look really weird in this picture, but for some reason he loves it and has added it to his wallet. When I say “are you still carrying around that drunk pic?” he says “I really love it and I think you look so cute.”

My dh knows cake decorating takes my mind off my masters, very few things can do that, so after he spent most of the weekend at a massive LAN, he came home to sleep every night because he knows I struggle to sleep without him and he wanted to see me :), he took me to a hobby expo and didn’t complain when I started buying stuff… In fact he paid for all of it… For the last couple of months he has bought me decorating tools actually 🙂 and all without compaint because it helps me destress…

I worked an overnight shift once where I flew out of here at about 9pm, worked, and flew home 5am ish.  By the time I got home, closer to 8, I noticed the bed was semi mad and the covers on my side were folded down so I could climb in and sleep.  He fixed it up for me before he left for work. =)

I FI knew that one of my grandparents was really very sick (just hot out on hospice yesterday) well last weekend he was going to stay home from one of his good friends bachelor party to sit with me at the hospital (I didn’t allow that) but it’s the thought that counts.

Also, just a small thing but.. I love how sometimes on his sleep he holds my hand. I love waking up and were holding hands <3

@MrsFutureG:  +1, I love when my husband does computer stuff for us (really loving the SSD lol).

To OP, my husband is an amazing provider (he works, I get to stay home) and my best friend.  He’s definitely my knight in shining armor.

Last week I was sick and I opened the fridge door to find my Fi had bought me fruit and little chocolate snowmen. It’s the little things 🙂

@DarlingClementine:  This whole weekend he was right beside me visiting my dad in hospital. He was my rock.

Then he even took me and my brother out for a nice sushi dinner to cheer us up. One of the many reasons I think he is the most wonderful, caring person in the world <3

SO worked night shift last night. We’re both off today. Before I found out he was working night shift, I made plans for us to do some things today.

Since I know he didn’t get to bed until probably 8 AM, I was going to just let everything slide and let him sleep. I didn’t get a chance to put my evil plan of letting him sleep into effect because he just got up and started showering. He knows me too well.

My work has been a nightmare recently. I’m a new teacher and have been very overwhelmed by my workload, have been in tears and super stressed. MrWigeon is pretty much doing everything around the house, cooking, cleaning… just so that I can get through my work and have a little bit of time together.

I just hope he knows how grateful I am. He cried with me a couple of weekends ago, broke my heart.

Just this morning he woke up with our puppy, let her out, and fed her to give me a few extra minutes of sleep.

Then he made me coffee as I was out walking her.

Its the million little things he does that makes me feel so lucky.
