In search of a good strapless bra

posted 1 month ago in Beehive

Can anyone recommend a good strapless bra? I am in search of one which will give me cleavage in a slightly stiff material wedding dress. I am a 32D which makes it slightly impossible to find at times so I may have to go the ebay route.

Thanks ladies!

Hi. I'm a 34D. I actually found something at Kohl's that I really liked. It's very full coverage, but it comes up on top of your boob so that it doesn't fall down as easily. I would look there if you can. I haven't had much luck w/ the Victoria's Secret Strapless. I have a faux NuBra too that works well, but it doesn't really give you much lift. Good luck!

Hey! I'm the same size as you. Unfortunately, you may have to go to a specialty store and get something. I know that Miss Sundae posted about her experience at Intimacy. (I was able to find a boustier there while I was in Houston and was quite pleased with it! :) )

Good luck!

34 D, I got a lilyette... This thing is like duct taping the girls in place, but with a nicely defined shape... and it was cheap!  I went to like 4 different places and got the same recommendation for lilyette.  Oh, and I got it at JC Penny which was half the price of the same bra at macy's.

I'm the same size as you too and I have a natori that I love...I've had it for years. Saks and Bloomies carry the line.

I would also suggest going to a specialty shop because generally you are supposed to go down in size for strapless and I have no idea what's below a 32 (mine's actually a 32 so apparently I don't subscribe to this theory anyway).

This may sound crazy, but I swear by Curvation, a brand endorsed by Queen Latifah, that is sold at... WAL MART.  It is the first and ONLY strapless bra that has ever worked on my 36DD figure.  No extra padding, and no constant adjusting needed.  And they are currently on sale online for a whopping $9, so it's cheap enough to give it a whirl!

Fredericks of Hollywood, been buying them for years, also depending where you live Trashy Lingerie will fit a bra or corset to you for the same as off the rack price

36D here.... I finalyl bought my first strapless a few weeks ago at Macy's that didn't 1) push up my boobs likea serving platter 2) fall down to my waist after an hour 3) have too much padding or 4) give me those ugly booby/bra lines that you can see through a tee shirt. It was $40, not on sale, and I was so excited! I think it was made by Maidenform, but I'm not sure. Bonus- it had little receivers for the detachable straps it came with, so I can buy some clear straps if I want a tad more support.
