I'm so sorry. Is your family going back to India to pay respects? That might help your dad to put some closure and to mourn. I'm sure you'll find a lovely way to honor your uncle at your wedding. Wishing you peace in your heart.

My parents were in india for the surgery. They had the cremation today.
My grandparents are not doing very well at all...I usually try take the perspective that there's something for the rest of us to learn when stuff happens. And though it wasn't so acute, he has been in poor health for many years so maybe he has found some peace and comfort. But what really did my 92 year old grandfather have to learn from losing his youngest child?

Sadly, things did not go well.
I'm not sure what I feel right now...I alternate between sad, and angry, and also just having to remind myself that I will really never see him or talk to him again. My father is pretty devastated and sounding nonsensical. It's just hard...
