i am so glad to hear you have been to make lemonade from your lemons and you sound like you are relaxed and ready to roll with the flow.
i'm also glad you posted this problem, because i don't know about anyone else, but i think it gives a lot perspective to all the things we as brides freak out about during the planning process.

OP here again... Some of you mentioned that you wanted to hear how things went, so I thought I would post.
We decided to go with the fantastic theme of "Flooded with love" Thanks to those of you that provided us with such a good idea. We asked our church congregation to provide us with any extra rain related items that they had (umbrellas, raincoats, boots, etc) and decorated our reception with them. We opened the umbrellas and hung them upside down from the ceiling, which turned out really cool when softly lit from above!
My cousin's dress did infact work, so I wore that. It was great getting to share something like that with her.
We were able to quickly reprint programs and other paper goods that were needed, so that wasn't an issue either.
Thank you again for all the support. It was a tough situation at the time, but everything worked out wonderfully!

Wow! You are amazingly strong and resilient!! Not only that, but as someone who is completely new to the community (newly engaged), I am so impressed with the outpouring of kindness from the girls here.
