Wow, congrats!
We just bought our house a few weeks ago... so we have a long time before we'll get that.
THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!

Yay! That is awesome! Most people are just getting home loans and yours is paid off!
@cvbee: No real special stuff. We were able to put down a lot on our house because of some insurance money that I received so the loan wasn't that high to begin with. We have been applying basically my entire salary to our mortgage for the past year and we were also able to use a gift from my dad to pay the rest of the balance down.

I am hoping to be in your seat in 10 years, although I don't know how true that will be, since we plan on having a house built by then....
But, CONGRATS!! I bet it feels amazing, and if you do sell and can try to do it all yourself, then think of the profit you will get back!

A copy of our loan with a red PAID IN FULL stamp on it! We don't have a mortgage anymore!
