I haven't received a tangible gift, but my bridesmaids are so awesome and encouraging. One of them (my cousin), continually sends me pictures of shoes, and hair-do's that she thinks I would like!
It was after the wedding, but my best friend (who was my MOH), sent me a surprise gift after she heard about my pregnancy. She went out and bought a pack of I think 5 onesies, an adorable blanket, and a 101 Dalmations coloring book. She also sent some pregnancy books she had, which was all I was expecting to receive. I actually cried when I opened the package and saw everything. She's done so much for me through all the wedding drama and now the pregnancy drama. It's really proved to me how she's really a friend for life, which is a wonderful feeling when we've been best friend since 6th grade.
OMG - that is bay far the sweetest...I hope my bestie and BM does that for me when I get preggo, lol
One of my bridesmaids didn't send it to me yet but she ask if she could do my something blue. After talking to her, she is going to make an ankle bracelet with my something new, old, borrowed, blue on it. She is so talented with that kind of thing of course said yes!
How thoughtful! Its so nice that she wrote you a lovely card too. One of my bridesmaids kept a prayer journal for me for the whole calendar month before my wedding. She sent it to me at the start of May (wedding on May 30th) to share the specific ways that she's been praying for me as I approached the wedding. It was incredibly thoughtful to read thirty entries about the different areas of my life. I loved it.
That is so touching!! One of my BM's is crocheting my garter.. I thought it was so awsome that she wanted to do that even though it is very time comsuming and she has 2 small children and in the Army and her husband is deployed!!! I can't wait to wear it!
damn thats awesome! I'm jealous of having a bridesmaid like that.....all of mine suck and dont' seem that interested in my wedding, then again no one else does either.....

It was the most caring adorable heartfelt gift I've received since being engaged - - It came as a total surprise and as a result it brought a tear to my eye... It isn't big; it’s the mini book called Fortune Telling for the Bride....And its Tiffany box blue, who doesn’t love gifts that are Tiffany box blue!?!?!?
Along with the book my BM wrote a card sharing how excited she is for me and for my new life with FI to begin. She has traveled my entire journey w/ me and feels I couldn't have found a better person and she is honored that I chose her to be a part of my special day. After reading her card and flipping through the pages of this book I had that feeling of "this is exactly why this person is in my life and will be forever" it was a type of 'proud' moment. It made me stop in my tracks and evaluate every decision I’ve been making re: my wedding planning. And all my decisions make me feel proud!!!
