I have switched over the entire theme of my wedding to incorporate peacock feathers. I am going to have chocolate brown as well as a light mocha on the tables but I need another color to make it interesting. I am not sure I want a color to really throw a punch or something a little more muted, letting the feathers rather than the color stand out. Any suggestions, pics, or websites anyone has come across? I think I am now so overwhelmed I am losing sight of the look I want to achieve. THanks bees!

I’m doing that too! I just love peacock feathers, but I’ll be super suddle about it. For example… for my bouquet, I plan to have an all white bouquet of gardenias, white anemonies, roses… w/e… w/ some of the feathers under them… sorta like filling in as fern for a hidden punch of color… coming out of the ribbon wrapped around the stems.
I am focusing on the aqua blue from the feathers… and maybe a burgundy red, champagne, as well as the black and white. Lol… BTW, I love when my friends ask me what my two wedding colors will be… I basically have 5. 🙂
This is pretty much the black and white look I want… before adding what I just discribed.
This is a very dark bouquet of calla lilies that included some peacock feathers…

Oh, I love this idea!! My colors are green and blue, the same as in the peacock feathers – Yay!! I’m off to search for a peacock feather bout – I think FI would like that more than a flower.

I LOVE calla lillies, the about bouquet, while beautiful, is too dark for what I am looking for but I am thinking of doing a web search for more peacock bouque with more subtle calla lillies. I’ll post anything I find. I’d love to hear more ideas involving peacock feathers, its such an interesting and beautiful way to decorate for a wedding/ reception. thanks guys!
