Tiny bit of background. I've recently started working out again, and have lost a few inches, enough to be noticeable, particularly in the upper-body areas (tummy, waist & unfortunately, chest). Hubby has been noticing the changes, and has been giving me compliments.

This morning as I'm getting ready, I'm running around looking for my bra so I can get dressed and we can go out for breakfast before I go to work (his day off).

I ask him if he's seen my bra and he says "your so-and-so bra?" and I said yeah so then he told me where it was. As I'm standing there putting it on, he's watching me (you know, like guys do ;) and apparently felt like complimenting me on my appearance at that precise moment. He's smiling and looking at me lovingly and says "It's the incredible shrinking woman!"

Um. Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture?

I look at him like he has just LOST his mind and say "Yeaaah.. That's proobably not the best thing to say to me as I'm putting on my BRA".

It's at that moment that he realizes what incredibly poor timing that was and gets this huge cheesy grin on his face and starts laughing (cuz he feels like an ass) and says "That's not even what I was talking about!" continuously laughing and shaking his head..

I couldn't stay mad at him. I know it was an innocent remark and meant to be complimentary but it was just poor timing on his part. It was so funny that I started laughing too and we were fine :P

    Just wanted to share!

OHHH man it took me awhile to figure that out...incredible shrinking woman=shrinking boobs??

I thought there was going to be some story about him attacking you before work or something. Somehow my husband always happens to "wake up" right when i'm naked and putting a bra on, too. I swear they have boobdar
