Your shape looks great, but the tulle explosion in the abdomen area reminds me of a baby bump…

I have to agree. I think it is a lovely dress and you look gorgeous, so go with what makes you happy, but if I had to be super honest I’d say it’s not the absolute most flattering dress you could wear. Especially with your nice figure.

It’s very sweet and I can see why you like it, but I think you could do better to be honest. 🙁 The top half doesn’t compliment your lovely shape. I’m not typically a strapless lover at all, but I feel this dress would look better strapless because that fabric above your bust is throwing me off. Now, I LOVE a good overlay, but the lines are distracting. Is there anything they can do to the front to remove that extra line and “free up space”, so to speak? Keep the neckline but remove that extra lace.

You look very nice in fluffy tulle dresses, aren’t they fun?

I look at it and all I get is “meh”

I dont like the way the front illusion tulle pulls up over the chest.  It looks like the skin beneath has aged/wrinkles.  And then the baby bump thing.  But it’s not awful.

FutureMrs.White:  I think it looks absolutely stunning. I actually love the tulle effect at the front because it shows a bit more of your shape rather than poofy from your natural waist

FutureMrs.White:  I can see the baby-bump effect now that it’s mentioned. And I could do without the illusion neckline. Honestly, it looks like a few different dresses sewn together. The neckline, the boustier, the dropped waist, and the buttons….. it’s a little all over the place.

The strange waistline just seems so extraneous. I wasn’t overly impressed with Zac Posen’s line, and I think it’s because every gown has one too many details, just like this dress. The top is absolutely stunning, but I don’t love that “keyhold” waistline. It’s not in a super flattering place, which is a shame; you look beautiful in it otherwise. I think, if you’re second guessing it to this extent, it’s not your dress. :-/
