- Wedding: March 2013
Fiance and I currently have no known or unresolved issues, but since we are not having a catholic wedding, we won’t be doing any sort of mandated pre-marital counseling. I was thinking it was a pretty valuable thing leading up to marriage and was wondering if you had any suggestions for how we could independently tackle this. Maybe a book or something online, where we could open up some discussions about topics we might not be thinking about this far in advance on our own?
We’ve already talked about money and financial goals and how we’ll handle our finances and have put a plan in action for saving for the Wedding together. So far, so good.
We’ve also discussed children and different theories on raising them, as well as what we’ll do about religion, since neither of us is practicing.
I’m sure there are a million other things we should talk about, but nothing else comes to mind or seems easy enough to bring up without reason to.
Any suggestions?? Thanks, Bees!!
