Are you looking for a place for formal shots, or more casual/candid stuff?  I don’t live in Boston, but attended grad school there…so I’d love to try and help!

Aquarium?  If you are not looking for formal shots it could be totally fun to do a shoot in South Station.

My sister is having photos taken at the Boston Publc Library in Back Bay, they have gorgeous options. I’d recomemnd scouting out shoot locations prior to the actual shoot, since it is pretty big.

If I was still living in Boston I’d do my pictures at the Boston Public Library downtown. Such a gorgeous building!

Oooo, another vote for library pics — and if the weather holds, go into the amazing little courtyard area!

@ Bloom79: My sister’s friend had hers taken in the courtyard, the staircase (away from murals) and a few other locations. My sister called too and was told the same, but was also assured if you show up on your wedding day, with a small group and are quiet, they pretty much let you take your photos there, which is what my sister plans on doing.

She isn’t bringing her whole bridal party there, she has back up locations too.

When we went we took flash photos and it was fine.

What about riding the T? Or just pictures in the station? I second the South Station idea. It’s beautiful in there.

What about the theater district- there’s the Wang, Shubert, Majestic… you might not though because of the shows, but it might be worth looking into.

There’s always fenway Park

Harvard school of Medicine has a beautiful white marble building on Longwood Ave

The skywalk at the Prudentail?

I’m not sure if any of these will help… I’ll keep thinking……

I’ve seen some recent shoots at newly built student center at  Wellesley College, check out: (not necessarily engagement photos, but so you can see some cool places and furniture that you can have in  your pics)
